The Sidekick II Hiptop features a cool flip open screen, qwerty keyboard, 25% thinner design and 33% more talk time than the previous version.

Use the Sidekick II's large built-in qwerty keyboard to keep in touch with friends and family wherever you are through email, text messaging and instant messaging. The simple to use interface makes high volume messaging easy with a large color screen that’s easy on the eyes. Now available for use with Yahoo! Messenger as well as AOL® Instant Messenger (AIM®).

Enabling Technology.
The Sidekick II's excellent communication abilities make it a great option for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) individuals as well. Using the free IP Relay application you can place IP Relay calls from your SideKick. You can download the IP Relay application from the included software catalog on your SideKick II.

You can also make IP Relay calls directly through AIM using the My IP Relay™ gateway. Just send a message to screen name "My IP Relay" to get started!

Take Pictures, Send Pictures. All from your Sidekick II Built in high resolution digital camera.
The Sidekick II has a built in VGA camera for all those moments you want to capture on the fly. With a resolution of 640x480 and integrated flash and night mode you can take high quality pictures almost anywhere. You can send pictures to your friends straight from your sidekick, or store up to 36 pictures in your gallery.

The Sidekick II is one of the coolest phones around. You can see who’s calling with the innovative photo caller id. When a friend calls you can see their picture pop up on the screen and hear them calling with individualized ringtones. The intuitive dialing interface makes conference calls, call-forwarding and accessing your voice-mail a breeze.

The Sidekick also has a built in high quality speakerphone for making hands free calls. You can also use a hands-free headset for making calls.

With the included Catalog application, you can easily find new ringtones, games and applications straight from your Sidekick. You can preview ringtones before you purchase.
