Security

"Go/Stop" button for network access, connection type switching
(1X only or 1X/EV-DO modes) and a detailed Help File enhance the user
experience.

Broadband Access
The Pantech Wireless PX-500 uses Sprint’s EV-DO broadband network.
The EV-DO network is the clear leader among 3G high-speed wireless options,
providing users with lightning fast Internet access. Already available
in 32 U.S. metro areas, EV-DO delivers faster speeds than any other wireless
data network, offering users average speeds of 300-500kbps, with downloads
peaking at 2.4mbps. EV-DO coexists with Sprint’s CDMA 1xRTT network,
ensuring that Pantech Wireless PX-500 users will have excellent coverage
throughout the nation.
