Friendly Design
The sliding QWERTY keyboard of the Pocket PC 6700 slides from the side
rather than bottom of the device, providing the user with a roomy horizontially
oriented keyboard. The Pocket PC 6700 features a brilliant touch screen
that displays 64,000 hues with a sharp 320x240-pixel resolution, making
colors pop out and producing crisp text and images. The screen provides
both portrait and landscape views, switching automatically when the
device is opened or closed.The user interface also includes a centrally
located navigation pad and quick access keys that allow you to easily
navigate with one hand. The Pocket PC 6700 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,
and Mini-USB, and includes an expansion slot compatible with SD, SDIO,
and Multimedia memory cards.

Broadband Access
The Pocket PC 6700 uses Sprint’s Power Vision EV-DO broadband
network. The EV-DO network is the clear leader among 3G high-speed wireless
options, providing users with lightning fast Internet access. Already
available in 32 U.S. metro areas, EV-DO delivers faster speeds than
any other wireless data network, offering users average speeds of 300-500kbps,
with downloads peaking at 2.4mbps. EV-DO coexists with Sprint’s
CDMA 1xRTT network, ensuring that Pocket PC 6700 users will have excellent
coverage throughout the nation.

Phone Features
The Pocket PC 6700 provides rich, crystal clear sound quality and features
a built-in speakerphone. The Pocket PC 6700 ships with a stereo earbud
headset. Bluetooth support also gives you the option to use this phone
with wireless headsets.
In addition to the keyboard, the Pocket
PC 6700 has a large on-screen dialer. The Pocket PC 6700 also features
Voice Signal voice dialing software, which allows you to select any of
your contacts by name and dial the number by speaking the digits. You
can make a call directly from contacts as well as other built-in applications,
and you can take notes while on a call using the Notes shortcut in the
dialer screen. Other phone features of the Pocket PC 6700 include speed
dialing, call history, and call muting.

Wireless Email
The Pocket PC 6700 allows you to send and receive email directly from
the device. Send and receive email in real time, as well as view photos,
video, HTML and native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint attachments.
Built-In Email includes full access to Microsoft Outlook®, in addition
to POP3 and IMAP email clients. Pocket MSN® offers a fully integrated
smart data service offering universal sign-in; MSN Hotmail® and Inbox
integration, plus MSN® Messenger alerts. Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync®
allows for wireless integration with Exchange Server 2003.
You can also synchronize your device with
your desktop. The Sync application supports popular business email solutions,

standards, such as HTML, cHTML and WAP, and provides multiple web viewing
options. Optimized viewing minimizes horizontal scrolling and makes content
fit the small screen, while wide screen view provides the familiar interface

popular content such as news, sports, movies, stock quotes and weather

The Pocket PC 6700 lets you play MP3s
and RealAudio files directly from its built in speaker. (You can also
attach stereo headphones to the device.) You can organize your songs by
creating and editing play lists right on your smartphone and view a full
display of current tracks playing using Windows Media Player 10 Mobile.
The Pocket PC 6700's MP3 player also allows you to transfer your personal
