At 4.4 x 2.3 x 0.6 inches and 3.5 ounces, the new Cingular BlackJack
weighs in as the lightest smartphone on the market. The Cingular BlackJack
features a full QWERTY keyboard and a sleek soft touch finish. Its brilliant
touch screen displays 65,000 hues with a sharp 320x240-pixel resolution,
making colors pop out and producing crisp text and images.
Built into the BlackJack's compact design
are a trackwheel for easy one handed navigation, 5-way navigation pad
and quick access keys. The BlackJack offers Infrared and Mini-USB ports,
supports Bluetooth, and includes an expansion slot compatible with SD,
SDIO, and Multimedia memory cards. The BlackJack ships with 128MB of
flash memory.

wireless experience by making your phone more like your PC, bringing
you access to video, graphics, pictures, downloads, email and more,
all at speeds faster than ever before. 3G also offers simultaneous access
to voice, data, and email services. 3G is currently available in major
metropolitan areas and is rapidly expanding. You'll know you're in a
3G coverage area when the 3G network indicator appears beside the signal
bars on your phone. The BlackJack is also compatible with the EDGE network
and is designed to switch seamlessly when 3G is unavailable, giving
you exceptional nationwide coverage wherever you go. EDGE delivers speeds
nearly twice as fast as any other national data network, offering average
download speeds of 70 - 135 kilobits per second (Kbps) and burst speeds
up to 200 Kbps.

New Microsoft software for Windows Mobile™-based
devices includes the PowerPoint® Mobile™ application for viewing

Features
Exceptionally lightweight, the BlackJack is ideally designed for use as
a cell phone. The Pocket PC 8525 is North America's first 3G Tri-band
UMTS/HSDPA and Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE world phone with international
voice and data roaming capabilities. The Pocket PC 8525 features a speakerphone
for convenient, hands-free conversation, Bluetooth support for use with
wireless headsets, and voice driven menus that allow you to use voice
commands to make phone calls.
Picture caller ID is yet another feature
of the Pocket PC 8525, along with Polyphonic and MP3 ring tones. Use these
features to customize your rings for individual callers, or attach a picture
to a phone book number in your address book to create customized caller
alerts. The Pocket PC 8525 also features push-to-talk capabilities (available
early 2007).

Email
The BlackJack allows you to send and receive email directly from the device.
Send and receive email in real time, as well as view photos, video, HTML
and native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint attachments. Built-In
Email includes full access to Microsoft Outlook®, in addition to POP3
and IMAP email clients. Pocket MSN® offers a fully integrated smart
data service offering universal sign-in; MSN Hotmail® and Inbox integration,
plus MSN® Messenger alerts. Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync®
allows for wireless integration with Exchange Server 2003.
You can also synchronize your device with
your desktop. The Sync application supports popular business email solutions,
as well as most familiar ISPs like Yahoo! and EarthLink.

Pocket IE Browser
With the BlackJack and Cingular's 3G broadband network, you can access
the internet at lightning fast speeds using your Microsoft Pocket Internet
Explorer Browser. Its vibrant display and powerful processor provides
a rich wireless web viewing experience.
The browser supports multiple Internet
standards, such as HTML, cHTML and WAP, and provides multiple web viewing
options. Optimized viewing minimizes horizontal scrolling and makes content
fit the small screen, while wide screen view provides the familiar interface
of a desktop web browser. An online search feature and quick links to
popular content such as news, sports, movies, stock quotes and weather
allow you to locate information easily.

Media Capabilities
Optimized for multimedia, the BlackJack lets you capture still pictures
and video, store and play MP3 files, and even watch streaming video.
The BlackJack has an integrated 1280 x
1040 (1.3 MegaPixel) digital camera with 2x zoom and automatic light balancing.
Just point and click! You can transfer your pictures to your computer,
or send them straight to a friend via email or MMS. The built-in camcorder
lets you record videos, play them on the LCD screen and easily save them
right on the device.
The BlackJack lets you play MP3s and RealAudio
files directly from its built in speaker. (You can also attach stereo
headphones to the device.) You can organize your songs by creating and
editing play lists right on your smartphone and view a full display of
current tracks playing using Windows Media Player 10 Mobile. The BlackJack's
MP3 player also allows you to transfer your personal music collection
to an expansion card (sold separately) to play your handheld. |

documents, pictures, ring tones, music, or downloading applications. Save
